Adeel Halim is a film maker and photojournalist specialising in travel and street photography. Adeel started his career as a photojournalist with Reuters and is currently represented by Polaris Images in New-York in addition to being a contract photographer for Bloomberg News and The New York Times. He is also engaged in environmental projects for J.P Morgan’s Climate Care and Eco Securities and its clients that include Land Rover and TUI. Adeel’s work has taken him across Asia, Europe and Africa covering breaking news and feature stories. In 2008, he won the 3rd prize at the UNFCCC/CDM International Photo Contest. His pictures have appeared in numerous international magazines and newspapers that include The Guardian, Newyork Times, Time Magazine, Business Week, Newsweek, Geo, IL, Ventiquattro, The Wall Street Journal, L’express, The Economist, Financial Times, International Herald Tribune, Washington Post, Vancouver Sun, Forbes, The National, The Hindu, China Daily, Financial Post and Aftenposten. He is based in Mumbai, India and is available for assignments world wide.
