The Tasveer Journal is an online magazine for photography, with a focus on projects relating to the Indian subcontinent. Our goals are to provide a growing cartography of the history and future of photography in South Asia, help great photographers reach a wide audience of photography lovers and enthusiasts, and to promote discussion, dialogue and debate around the medium through the work we display. The Tasveer Journal is run by Tasveer (a pan-Indian gallery dedicated to photography) and operates in parallel to the gallery’s exhibition programme.
